It's in the mail
The Into The Woods, Jr. play has been ordered.
Because of the demands of this play we are opening it up to students in grades 5-9th.

Tech Week
Bring your tye dye shirt to practice all week! Tomorrow we will take a cast/crew photo for the program.
$5 tickets on sale at the door
Candy grams- $ .50
Flower grams- $1
Snack/drinks- $ .50
We will have a breakfast on Sat. morning for the cast/crew. Thank you Mrs. Arnold!
Please arrive at 10 am.
We will meet at 3 on Sunday. The performance is at 4. Remember there is a cast/crew party immediately following the show (pizza/ cake). It should last an hour.
Reminder: girls- try and find a shawl or kerchief around your house for melting pot. Boys- caps, vest or suspenders.
Jeans, tye dye shirt and sneakers for the play!

Here we SNOW again!
Due to the winter weather we once again were forced to cancel practice. We will try and practice this Thursday(new added date) and Friday.
We will practice M, T, TH and F next week, too and then ALL WEEK M-F from 3:10 to 4:30 the week of March 23rd! We know about some conflicts just try your best to attend as many as you can. They must be preplanned commitments!
Our performances will be on Sat at 12 actors arrive at 10 and Sunday at 4 actors arrive at 3!

Updates
We are meeting Monday 2/23 BUT not Tuesday (optical academy). We are meeting this Friday 2/27.
The Sunday performance is now going to begin at 4. The actors should arrive by 2. Let us know if this will be a problem. Our cast party will follow the performance (it should be about an hour).

The SNOW I mean SHOW must go on...
BUT, on a new weekend! Due to the weather and the lack of rehearsal times in January and February we will not be prepared to put on our show as planned. We understand the commitments of other activities mixed in with the snow days we are not ready to perform. A theater performance takes the entire crew to make the show work. When we are all not there it makes it difficult to work with each other. We have had an endless amount of understudies filling the shoes of the missing actors which makes it a challenge.
We have begun working with the mics which creates its own share of problems. We need the actors there so we can do our mic hand offs without interruption.
We share our facility with other groups who also have their needs.
Because of these bumps we must move the performance weekend to March 28th and 29th.
The Saturday performance will be at 12 and the Sunday performance will be at 2. We will have our cast party immediately following the Sunday performance. We ask the actors and crew to arrive at 10 on Sat. and 12 on Sunday for breakfast and a final rehearsal.

We will ask the kids to BRING them to school to be worn over something just for the cast picture on Wednesday, February 25th and then removed to avoid being lost or stained. The students were told to wear jeans. Some asked about jean-like leggings. The are OK, but keep in mind you need a place to secure the mic that is easy to put on and take off.
We are also looking for some props to be borrowed: A large caldron(like one used on Halloween), page boy caps, berets, cowboy hats, Napoleon hat, vests, shawls,
